General's Mansion
The Meilun Riverside Japanese-style Dormitory is a Japanese-style wooden building located in Meilun, Hualien City, Hualien County, Taiwan. During the Japanese occupation of Taiwan, it belonged to the 3rd Battalion of the 2nd Infantry Regiment (Hualien Port Sub-Brigade). After World War II, it served as military quarters for the Republic of China Army. One of the buildings in the dormitory complex is a designated historical site of Hualien County, while the other seven surrounding buildings are historical buildings of Hualien County.
